Full Day Course for ITC Reseller Technical Staff Members
Locations : Regular courses are held at alloy's facilities in Sydney and Melbourne. Training Courses are run in other capital cities by announcement. Details of current Training Courses are available from the menu options on the left of this page.
Equipment required : Please bring a notebook with a mains power supply to the Training Course. All other equipment (IP-PBX, IP Phones, PoE switches etc) is provided.
Epygi PBX Core Skills Training Course - Outline
Introduction to the Quadro IP-PBX series
Overview of the various models of the Quadro PBX & SIP gateway models, their capacity’s and applications
Configuring the Quadro’s system settings and network interfaces
LAN & WAN interface configuration and system settings configuration to communicate correctly with the local environment and also over a broadband connection. Overview of NAT Traversal settings for full connectivity over the WAN connection.
Configuring IP phones
Various methods of deploying SIP phones as extensions of the Quadro PBX including Automatic ‘Plug-n-Play’ provisioning and manual provisioning.
Registering VoIP carrier account(s)
Configuring ITSP account on PBX including SIP Registration & inbound call handling.
The Call Routing Table
Understanding the Quadro’s call routing functionality. Configuring the Call Routing Table for internal & external call handling. Securing PBX against call hacking.
Ongoing system management
Basic logging & diagnostics. Configuration management. Secure remote management.
Epygi PBX Core Skills Training Course - Terms and Conditions
The Epygi "PBX Core Skills" Technical Training Course (TTC) is designed to meet the needs of Resellers who are currently active in the VoIP market segment, or are planning to enter that market. The following Terms and Conditions apply to all TTC attendees:
- Alloy takes online submissions espressing an interest in attending the course. Individual applications are assessed for suitability. Applicants must have an appropriate level of technical competence. Alloy prioritises
applicants from Resellers who are already active with Epygi products. In addition, TTC course places are limited to a specific size. Course places will be offered to qualifying applicants on a 'first in best dressed' basis.
Attendance on the TTC will be confirmed by email.
- Course fees must be paid in advance of attending the TTC.
- Payments for a place on the course are accepted only by Credit Card (VISA, Mastercard, Bankcard and Amex are accepted). Alloy processes credit card payments upon allocation of a place on the course - normally within two
business days from registration.
- Course Fees. There are two TTC payment options:
Option A: TTC Place Only
$275 ex GST per person for TTC place only. Fee Includes:
- Place on the "Core Skills" TTC
- Lunch and Refreshments throughout the day
- QUADRO-PIC for later use with a Quadro PBX installation (Details available HERE)
(Note: normal QUADRO-PIC cost = $200 ex GST)
Option B: TTC Place and VoIP Telephone System (VTS) Bundles
$1050 ex GST per person for TTC place plus a discounted VoIP telephone system. Fee Includes:
- Choice of QUADRO2X (PSTN) or QUADRO2XI (ISDN)
- QUADRO2X Expansion Key License - Adds 8x IP Extensions on Quadro2x/2xi
- 1x Yealink SIP-T28 IP Phone
- 1x QUADRO-PIC for later use with a Quadro PBX installation.(Details available HERE)
- Resellers are only allowed to purchase one VTS Bundle for any type of Epygi TTC course within a 2 year period, irrespective of whether the attendee is the same person as previously attended or not, or how many staff attend a
TTC from one Reseller.
- The VTS bundle option will be provided on the day(s) of the course, and the purchaser takes it away with them. The hardware bundle will not be shipped to the purchaser in advance of the course.
- Registered Participants cannot update from the $275 'place only' option to the $1050 VTS Bundle option once Alloy has shipped equipment to the training venue. We ship equipment as late as possible, but it could be shipped up to a week before the date of the course.
- Alloy reserves the right to offer the VTS bundle option, to vary any component of the VTS bundle or change the price charged at any time. If individual components of the VTS bundle are changed, Alloy will endeavour to
substitute a comparable product.
- Cancellation and non-attendance. Fees will be refunded if Alloy is given a minimum 3 full business days notice prior to the event. Where attendees cancel within 3 days of the TTC, Alloy reserves the right to retain course
fees. If attendee cancels within 3 days of the event and has selected option B, Alloy will only retain the $275 course attendance fee.
- Alloy retains the right to change dates and venues of individual TTC's, or to postpone or cancel a TTC. Any such changes will be promptly communicated to TTC attendees.
