Alloy's VoIP Reseller Technical Training Courses for Quadro IP-PBX
Alloy provides Technical Training courses (TTC's) on a regular basis to support our Reseller partners who implement VoIP telephone systems. The following TTC's
are available:
The Quadro Advanced PBX Configuration & Management Course Module covers areas of advanced IP-PBX functionality and system functionality.
Synopsis of the Course Program
Epygi Quadro Advanced PBX Configuration & Management - Full Day Course
Locations : Regular courses are held in Sydney and Melbourne, and in other capital cities by announcement (venue and registration forms available from menu on
left of the page).
Course Requirement: completion of the Epygi Core Skills Technical Training Course (or one of the earlier Epygi Quadro Product TTC courses) is a mandatory requirement for attending this course
Call Routing
- Advanced call routing configuration
- Using the AAA function to prevent unauthorised user calls
Security
- Securing the IP PBX against various types of exploitation. All phone systems are vulnerable to exploitation if not correctly secured. This can result in costly phone bills due to someone using your phone system to make calls. IP PBX’s are also exploitable if not correctly secured.
- We will examine several ways this could be done and also how to prevent it.
Quadro Software Tools
- Utilising tools for enhanced IP-PBX functionality
- Users can dial to contacts in their Outlook contact list via their Quadro PBX
- Integrators can monitor and perform basic maintenance tasks on their customers Quadro systems remotely
- Customised Hold Music can be streamed from a server to the Quadro, giving you more control over available memory and audio formats
IVR - Interactive Voice Response Menus and Operations
- Custom Interactive Voice Response system design and configuration. Many businesses use IVR menu’s to answer incoming customer calls. This can reduce receptionist workload and increase call handling efficiency
- We will look at how to edit basic XML scripts to provide this functionality
- Quadro’s built in Auto Attendant provides some useful remote services for trusted users including access to voicemail, Call Relay services, & more
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
- Quadro systems have a number of logs and tools that can be used to help diagnose issues and optimise system performance
- Interpreting Quadro logging and diagnostic information
- Capturing diagnostic information
Epygi PBX Core Skills Training Course - Terms and Conditions
The Epygi "Quadro Advanced PBX Configuration & Management" Technical Training Course (TTC) is designed for Resellers and their staff who are currently active in the VoIP market segment and are active Alloy customers who resell Epygi Quadro products. The following Terms and Conditions apply to all appliants for this TTC:
- Alloy takes online submissions espressing an interest in attending the course. Individual applications are assessed for suitability. Course places are limited to a specific size. Applicants must have an appropriate level of technical competence, and work for a registered Alloy Reseller who purchases Epygi Quadro product. Individual applicants must have completed a Quadro "Core Skills" TTC as a pre-requisite for attendance on this TTC. Subject to these conditions being met, course places will be offered to qualifying applicants on a 'first in best dressed' basis. Attendance on the TTC will be confirmed by email.
- Course fees must be paid in advance of attending the TTC.
- Payments for a place on the course are accepted only by Credit Card (VISA, Mastercard, Bankcard and Amex are accepted). Alloy processes credit card payments upon allocation of a place on the course - normally within two business days from registration.
- Course Fees. There are two TTC payment options:
Option A: TTC Place Only
$275 ex GST per person for TTC place only. Fee Includes:
- Place on the "Core Skills" TTC
- Lunch and Refreshments throughout the day
Option B: TTC Place and VoIP Telephone System (VTS) Bundles
$1050ex GST per person for TTC place plus a discounted VoIP telephone system. Fee Includes:
- Choice of QUADRO2X (PSTN) or QUADRO2XI (ISDN)
- QUADRO2X Expansion Key License - Adds 8x IP Extensions on Quadro2x/2xi
- 1x Yealink SIP-T28 IP Phone
- Resellers are only allowed to purchase one VTS Bundle for any type of Epygi TTC course within a 2 year period, irrespective of whether the attendee is the same person as previously attended or not, or how many staff attend a TTC from one Reseller.
- The VTS bundle option will be provided on the day(s) of the course, and the purchaser takes it away with them. The hardware bundle will not be shipped to the purchaser in advance of the course.
- Registered Participants cannot update from the $275 'place only' option to the $1050 VTS Bundle option once Alloy has shipped equipment to the training venue. We ship equipment as late as possible, but it could be shipped up to a week before the date of the course.
- Alloy reserves the right to offer the VTS bundle option, to vary any component of the VTS bundle or change the price charged at any time. If individual components of the VTS bundle are changed, Alloy will endeavour to
substitute a comparable product.
- Cancellation and non-attendance. Fees will be refunded if Alloy is given a minimum 3 full business days notice prior to the event. Where attendees cancel within 3 days of the TTC, Alloy reserves the right to retain course
fees. If attendee cancels within 3 days of the event and has selected option B, Alloy will only retain the $275 course attendance fee.
- Alloy retains the right to change dates and venues of individual TTC's, or to postpone or cancel a TTC. Any such changes will be promptly communicated to TTC attendees.
